The very nature of Art enables pupils to explore, in depth, a range of exciting, enriching and often thought-provoking ideas through their work. Art also affords pupils the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities which add an important creative and cultural dimension to their development and allows pupils to make links between Art and every other curriculum area, thus enriching ideas and fostering visual awareness and intellectual curiosity.

The Art School at Wellington houses Fine Art, Art Textiles and Photography. It is a department of vibrant creativity. Our open door policy means that pupils can come in and work most evenings, including Sunday afternoons. On-going creativity within workbooks are a necessary requirement of each pupil. There is no limit on scale or materials; work pupils create is exciting, vibrant and, in doing so each learn much about themselves.
